Developing Derby’s Approach to IFD:
• Derby started off by looking to achieve a consensus
across the partnership about what we meant by IFD
• Was progressed with the April workshops
• Thought about in the participation work
• Developed through the discussion paper
• Worked on in the partnership senior staff development
days
• Publicised through staff briefings and newsletters with
opportunity to ask questions and feedback
• Governance and commissioning to outline approach
developed
