The focus of AIPHS is excellent student attendance (99.5%). This will be the foundation to ensure academic success in English literature and mathematics. The curriculum is designed to enhance the academic skills of socio-economically disadvantaged students. AIPHS will also provide instruction that will develop students' academic skills in writing, science, social science, business, and the humanities in order to be productive members in a free market capitalist society. This will be a collaborative effort between school, family, and community members. Background Charter High School established in 2006 to accommodate its graduating middle school students Collaboration v. AIPHS & Merritt College - begins in 9th grade with Chinese Focus on rigorous college prep curriculum in English, writing, mathematics, science, social science, and business Background Open to all students who agree to abide by the school rules Serves students historically underrepresented in higher education: lowincome, first-generation college goers, English language learners, students of color AIPHS SUCCESS CREDO The Family: We are a family at AIPHS.
