Classroom & School
Community
 Our school and our classrooms are like small
communities. In our communities, we have
rules to help us get along with each other.
 Our school expectations are: B.A.R.K.




Be Safe
Appropriate Behavior
Responsibility
Kindness
Tardiness & Early Release




School starts at 8:45 A.M.
Dismissal is at 3:53 PM
Please make sure your child is on time
Disruptions to the learning environment in a
classroom need to be kept at a minimum so we
ask that you do not pick your child up early from
school unless it is an emergency. It is difficult to
get a classroom of kindergarteners back on task
after an interruption as you may well imagine!
Field Trips
 Safety Town in September
Learn about safety at home and at school.
Students learn about: Bus Safety, 911, Fire
Safety, Stranger Danger, and more.
 Potter Park Zoo in May
Students have the opportunity to see the
animals they have been learning about all
year with Zoophonics.
Let’s Have a Awesome Year!
