This withdrawal is only to be used when the student is withdrawing permanently; it is not to be used to indicate the end of year action when a student is returning the next school year. 7/17/2015 4 EIS Changes 2014-15 Withdrawal Codes – We added code 17 - students who withdraw from a traditional bricks and mortar school to enroll in an online school where the content is delivered via the Internet and the school is not located in Tennessee. – If you have questions or need assistance with withdrawal codes please contact the Data Quality Group at the Department of Education. 7/17/2015 5 EIS Changes 2014-15 New Bus Data – We added EIS extract 15 District Bus Data. The purpose of this request is to provide additional data about district buses to be used for future reporting of bus details student ridership within the school district. – If you have questions or need assistance with this topic please contact Local Finance at the Department of Education. 7/17/2015 6 EIS Changes 2014-15 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a universal meal plan under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) that permits eligible districts and schools to provide meal service to all students at no charge, regardless of economic status. (Section 104a of the Healthy, HungerFree Kids Act). Designated by Student classification “3”. If you have questions or need assistance with CEP please contact Rasheeda Washington at [email protected] 7/17/2015 7 SIS Vendor Testing Status Testing consisted of four phases – Phase I – initial creation of district and school calendars, classes, student, and staff data. – Phase II – making changes to existing data (some intentional errors). – Phase III – making corrections to errors. – Phase IV – End of year processing, EOY actions, completions, final grades, and all reporting. 7/17/2015 8 SIS Vendor Testing Status Edupoint – – Completed first three phases and are in Phase IV. – Have sent all extracts, final grades have errors. – Approved to submit production extracts. – Have not submitted reports. – Known Issues: • Cannot create multiple calendars for a school. 7/17/2015 9 SIS Vendor Testing Status Follett – Completed first three phases and are in Phase IV. – Have errors on final grade reporting. – Approved to submit production extracts. – Have not submitted reports. 7/17/2015 10 SIS Vendor Testing Status Pearson – PowerSchool – Completed Phase IV extracts. – Approved to submit production extracts. – Have submitted most reports, some with errors. – Know Issues: • Distance the student lives from school is in full miles only, no decimals allowed. • Cannot create multiple school calendars. • Only allows for one teacher per class. 7/17/2015 11 SIS Vendor Testing Status Skyward – Completed Phase IV extracts. – Approved to submit production extracts. – Have not submitted most reports. 7/17/2015 12 SIS Vendor Testing Status STI – – Completed first three phases of testing and are in Phase IV. – Errors on some extracts. – Approved to submit production extracts. – Have not submitted reports. 7/17/2015 13 Questions 14
