Content Assessments for School Leaders – Sep 2014  Assess content knowledge for Missouri administrative certificates  Two assessments:  Building Level Administrator  District Level Administrator  Aligned with Missouri and Interstate School Leader Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) standards

Test Development Process

• Missouri educator participation – Bias Review Committee – Content Advisory Committees • Test Frameworks define content to be assessed • Field Testing • Item Validation and Standard Setting Conferences • Board of Education sets passing scores

Tentative Test Design

• Combination of Multiple-Choice and Constructed-Response sections • Multiple-Choice section: – Approximately 70 test questions • Constructed-Response section: – 3 Focused Constructed-Response Items – 1 Case Study

Test Administration, Scoring & Reporting

• All assessments are computer-based, available by appointment • Individual scores reported to candidates • Individual and aggregate results reported to: – Educator Preparation Programs – Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
