Subjuntivo de conjunciones

 Subjunctive sentences that use conjunctions still follow the same format: [main clause] + [connector] + [subordinate clause]  The conjunctions replace que as the connector



Ejemplos

Yo voy al supermercado a menos que mi hermano tenga que usar el coche.



I will go to the supermarket unless my brother has to use the car.

 Yo necesito hacer mi tarea antes de que podamos ir a la fiesta.



I need to do my homework before we can go to the party.

 El gobierno pasa leyes sobre el medio ambiente para que las personas preserven la naturaleza.



The government passes laws about the environment so that people preserve nature.

 Tú recicles mucho con tal de que las cosas sean usadas para otras cosas.



You recycle a lot provided that the stuff is used for other things.

Conjunciones— ¿subjuntivo o indicativo?

 There are some conjunctions that will use the subjunctive or the indicative  Subjunctive—when the subject changes between clauses and the subordinate clause is uncertain  Indicative—when the subject does not change
