Ender’s home is on earth,
he is a third, he has an
older brother named
Peter, who is very mean to
him because he is jealous
of him, and an older sister
named Valentine who is
very sweet and kind to
Ender.
Catniss’s home is in
District 12 of Panem. She
lives with her mother and
little sister, Prim. She is
the support beams of he
family, so to speak, since
her father died when she
was younger

Ender’s call to adventure is
when he gets his monitor
taken away and he fights
with/ kills Stilson, because
his life is just beginning to
change because the monitor
protects you, and without it
he couldn’t get help as
easily.
Catniss’s Call to adventure is
on the day of the Reaping.
When her sister’s name is
called to go fight to the
death and she knows she has
to volunteer to go into the
arena for Prim

Ender’s refusal to the call is
when Graff comes and talks
to ender about coming to
the school. He isn’t quite
sure and almost decides not
to go.
Katniss’s refusal to the call
is when she is up on the
stage with Effie, and she
realizes she had just
volunteered to fight to the
death, she almost isn’t able
to accept what she had
done, but she knew she had
to for her sister.

Ender’s Meeting with the
Mentor is when he first gets
to the school, because up
there, you have to learn
from everyone, one of his
mentors is the buggers, the
Giant game, and also Mazer
when he is taken to
Command School

Katniss’s meeting with the
Mentor is when she and
Peeta meet Haymitch for
the first time. She meets
Cinna her stylist, and when
Effie tries to teach her.

Ender’s Crossing the threshold
is when he gets to his new
school and has to learn how
to live a new lifestyle, the
life that the teachers want
him to live.
Katniss’s Crossing the
threshold is when she and
Peeta get to the capital,
because there they see how
different their district is
from the Capital

Ender’s allies are his friends in
Dragon, that he commands.
His tests are the battles, and
he wins them all,
overcoming all the obstacles
the teachers throw at him.
His enemies are some of the
older kids that hate him for
being better than them
Katniss is not quite sure of
her allies because she
doesn’t trust anyone but her
stylist, Cinna. Her enemies
are the other tributes that
she will have to kill, even
Peeta is an enemy to her
because there can only be
one winner.

Ender’s Approach is when
he plays the mind game,
and commands his army
in all of the battles, to
get ready for something
he doesn’t know.

Katniss’s Approach is when
she trains in the Capitol to
get ready to fight for the
arena
Ender’s Game
Ender’s ordeal is
when he has to
command a real
fleet of ships when
they confront the
buggers.

Katniss’s ordeal is when
she is in the arena and
has to kill the other
tributes, so she can live.
Ender’s Game
Ender’s reward is when he
gets to be with his
friends and win all his
battles

Katniss’s reward is when
she and Peeta live
through the games.

when he has to fight the
buggers.
Katniss’s resurrection is
when they announce that
there can only be one
winner.

buggers is over and gets
to go do whatever he
wants

is when she is coming
back home from winning
the 74th Hunger Games
with Peeta.

Ender’s return with the
elixir is when he gets to
go explore space with
Valentine and write his
book.
Hunger Games
Katniss’s return with the
elixir is when she comes
home with all the glory.
And they are all happy,
for a little while 
