Don’t want the bag at the end of convention?... Donate it!: Attendees will have the opportunity to donate their bag at the end of the convention. Donated bags will be filled with school supplies and given to a local community of students in need.

Any collegiate member that will be a full-time student majoring in engineering, engineering technology, and/or applied physical sciences, and will have at least a “sophomore” credit level during their year of service on the REB OR A graduate student with a undergraduate degree in engineering, engineering technology, and/or applied physical sciences • •

Positions someone is eligible for

Full-time and currently enrolled students are eligible for any position on the REB. Graduated students who have a degree in in engineering, engineering technology, and/or applied physical sciences are eligible for appointed positions.

Anyone applying for an elected position, will be required to give a speech during the Regional Meeting of National Convention.

Strategies for An Effective Chapter Transitioning • • • • Lack or Poor Transitioning Can Lead to the Demise of a Chapter Don’t be THAT Chapter Make sure all e-board members archive e-mails, documents, submissions, flyers etc Use NSBE E-mails to make File & Correspondence Transfer Easier – i.e. [email protected]

Strategies for An Effective Chapter Transitioning • • • Develop a Plan EARLY ! Hold Elections before Finals Start – If possible complete before convention Schedule a minimum of 1-2 days for old E-Board Members to train Incoming E-Board Members – Make this Fun! Have food & breaks ! Bonding  – Feel Free to incorporate virtual trainings as well
