Delivering improvements in children and young people’s psychological wellbeing- Sunderland Community CAMHS What we know: •Increased prevalence of mental ill health in children and young people •Between 15% and 20% of children/young people have mental health difficulties •Approximately less than 20% of the above are seen by specialist mental health services What we know: •Audit Commission Review of CAMHS in England and Wales demonstrates that CAMHS professionals spend 1% of their time supporting Primary Care (Tier 1) Tier 4 Where do we fit?
