A scalable internet-based course that provides structure, a social environment, and automated feedback on learning that is free to everyone with no expectation of direct interaction with an instructor. MOOC IMPORTANCE – Are MOOCs an opportunity for TWU? • Summer bridge programs – Do MOOCs pose a threat to TWU? • Reducing paid-for courses – Should TWU offer credit for MOOCs? • How should TWU award credit? • How will TWU measure quality for accreditation?
