You have to make 4 choices and a reserve.
Your first choice is HISTORY or GEOGRAPHY.
Then choose three more in priority order.
You must choose a reserve.

16
Choices
• Students choosing two Humanities
subjects may not be allocated both –
although most usually are.
• It may or it may not be possible to study
two Humanities and French
• It may and it may not be possible to study
Music and Drama.
• You cannot study more than one
technology subject.
17
Choices - Rules
• You must choose either History or
Geography. Choose wisely, as you may
not get both.
18
Choices - Rules
• Must pick a reserve.
• Not all possible combinations will turn out
to work. If you combination does not work
then you will be offered your reserve.
• You will be spoken to at all stages.

A word of warning!
Every attempt will be made to give you the choices you
choose but this cannot be guaranteed. Some students will
be disappointed.
Sometimes there are not enough students to run some
courses.
Sometimes there are not enough places on some courses.
We do not make changes after the courses have
started in September.
