WARSAW – OUR CAPITAL
Warsaw is the biggest city in our country. It is the most popular destination for tourists. The population is about 2 mln people. If you are lucky you can meet there our President, Prime Minister or a lot of famous people connected with film, music
Warsaw has two faces. One is historical and the second one is modern.
SIXTEEN PROVINCES OF POLAND
One of them is our region – świętokrzyskie.
About 30% of świętokrzyskie voivodeship is covered by beautiful forests.
It is situated in central Poland and takes its name from the Świętokrzyskie (Holy Cross) mountain range. Its capital and the largest city is Kielce.
WORTH SEEING
The oldest and the biggest oak tree in Poland. It is about 700 years old. Its name is Bartek.
Cave called „Paradise” - It is a really wonderful place of natural beauty - real nature miracle.
180 meters long underground route take us to the breathtaking world of the stalactites, stalagmites and mysterious rock formations.
It is situated near Kielce and only about 2 kilometers from our school!
Another place which is worth visiting is the castle in Chęciny.
It was built in the 14th century and it was the residence of royal widows.
It is not far from our place of living.
Next interesting place is the ethnographic museum in Tokarnia. This park collects valuable examples of regional rural buildings with authentic design.

SITKÓWKA- NOWINY COMMUNE – OUR HOMELAND
Sitkówka Nowiny is a very beautiful and modern place. It has about 7 thousand people living in in.
It is situated in central part of świętokrzyskie province close to Warsow and Cracow. It is a very good place for business establishment and for tourism. Our commune is wealth in natural sources. We have wonderful forests, mountain ranges. The views are amazing.
Near our school there is a very modern complex of swimming-pools „Pearl” - which is one of the best in our area, with sauna, spa and cafe.. Moreover students of our school have one additional lesson of PE at the swimming pool.
OUR SCHOOL
Now we would like to present our school. Its name is: Orląt Lwowskich. This name is connected with a historical event that happened during The Second World War. It is a sign that we remember the bravery of young children who fought for the freedom of our country. Our school was founded in 1967.
At present there are over 400 students.
Our lessons start at 8 o’clock and finish between 2-3 p.m. Students learn two languages: English and German. They have a lot of additional classes where they can develop their interests.

Nice place to stay when you’re free and all emotions vent to be.
There are a lot of milk drinking , fruits and vegetables regularly eating.
Schools solemn feast takes every year place, and the new kids come here with smile on their face.
Sport never fails, gym is always full every one goes to the swimming pool.
Science is the most important, of course!
which guarantees us the best results.
Pupils cool atmosphere make, though every one shouts on break .
