OEP is responsible for development implementation and coordination of emergency preparedness plans to protect Postal Service employees, customers, operations and mail security during disasters and national emergencies

Safeguard critical assets of the Postal Service – Mail Isolation Control and Tracking (MICT) 4. Maintain the security interests of our nation – National Response Plan (NRP)
