WELCOME TO THE NHS LIBRARY

LIBRARY STAFF MRS. GOLDMAN, LIBRARIAN MRS. BRADLEY, LIBRARY ASSISTANT

LIBRARY INFORMATION

NHS Library is officially open from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. School rules rule. That means no texting.

No food or drinks, except for water, are allowed. Please don’t place the water next to a computer.

School is your job. Using the NHS Library is a privilege.

Students are required to remain in the library for the period.

Get a pass from the teacher.

You need to see a guidance counselor?

Get a pass from your guidance counselor.

There is a sign out sheet to leave to use the bathroom or go to your locker. Get a pass from the staff.

COPYING, PRINTING AND SCANNING

Copying: Available for you to use Double-sided available No color Printing from computers: Use Print Preview and only print the pages you need No color printers

Scanning: Available for you to use At the front desk

SIGNING OUT MATERIALS

Card in the back of the book Sign your full name – first and last Book checks out for 3 weeks and may be renewed.

5 cent overdue fine per day. Lost materials must be replaced.

When was the page last updated?

Documentation

Is information documented with references?

Are any links dead? Are the facts given supported with evidence? Is the information consistent with your knowledge in the subject ?

If statistics are provided, what is the source? Is the page free of spelling mistakes or other obvious mistakes?
