3. DIRECTORY OF OPEN ACCESS
JOURNALS (DOAJ)
DOAJ is a directory of the journals and
magazines in the various fields of knowledge.
These journals/magazines are available in
full text online free of charge. There are more
than 11,000 Journals available here.
Via the URL- http://www.doaj.org/
DATABASES (e-Journals)
DATABASES provide access to journal
literature either by providing the full text of
articles or to article references and
abstracts.
The Library is a subscriber to the 3 Online
Databases. These databases are very helpful
in research, teaching and consulting work.
The databases cover almost all world’s
topmost engineering journals in full text.
1) IEEE (ASPP)
• IEEE Xplore provides Web access to more
than 3-million full-text documents from
some of the world's most highly cited
publications in electrical engineering,
computer science and electronics.
• URL – http://ieeexplore.ieee.org
2. J-GATE
J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global ejournal literature. It presently has a massive
database of journal literature, indexed from
29,000+ e-journals with links to full text at
publisher sites.

3) ASTM DIGITAL LIBRARY
ASTM International, formerly known as the
American Society for Testing and Materials
(ASTM), is a globally recognized leader in the
development and delivery of international
voluntary consensus standards. Today, some
12,000 ASTM standards are used around the
