building activities with some local partners
• Difficulties in implementing (consistent) policy
dialogue
• Limited sharing of research outputs (RO) among
decision makers
• Limited use of RO in planning and decision making
processes
About IWMI Future in Mozambique
• Supporting the implementation of PEDSA pillar 3 –
especially in implementing the Irrigation Strategy and
Irrigation Plan
• Supporting MINAG/DNSA in the development of the
Irrigation Sub-sector investment strategy in the context
of CAADP Pillar 1 and PEDSA pillar 3
• Supporting MINAG in developing strategies for scaling
up agricultural water management solutions for Rainfed Production systems
• Helping to optimise the performance of existing
irrigation systems and developing an M&E system for
the irrigation sub-sector
