Federal – WIA-WIBs led to EDD (Employment Development
Department,) Adult Education and Literacy, Rehabilitation, and
other related activities (One-Stop Centers.)
Federal - VTEA – Improve vocational and technical educational
programs – foster cooperation between schools and colleges –
assist non-traditional economically challenged populations.
State – CalWORKs and RWPEDA – primary function was to bring
all the previously mentioned parts together.
