AP1/B Access

You will need to establish an E-Authentication
Account in order to go to NW PORTAL for
access.
What is USDA eAuthentication?

This is the system required by USDA agencies to enable
customers to get accounts that will allow them to access
USDA Web applications and services via the Internet
through an User Identification (User ID) and Password
system

To obtain a login for NWPortal, go to this
website:
http://www.eauth.egov.usda.gov/

Step One – Create an EAuthentication Account

You must obtain a Level One Account
Follow the instructions for a
Level 1 Account


Create your own password, etc
then click on “Continue”

Click Submit and wait for an email
If all of the information is correct,
you need to “Submit” in order to
complete the registration process.




Once you have submitted this
information you will be notified via email of your registration.
Notification may take an hour or
more.
You need to respond to this e-mail
to confirm your account and
complete the registration.
This will ensure the system can
identify you.

Now you can log out of the
system
Confirm your Account

You will get an e-mail confirming your application to the
eAuthentication process similar to the following:
Next: Click Activate My Account

You will get the following screen
No further action is required

Close the screen and your account is activated

Now you are ready to access
NWPORTAL



The URL for
NWPortal is:
www.nwportal.fs.usd
a.gov.
You will use this web
address for all further
access to the
NWPortal system
Click on “Continue”
Log in with your eAuthentication
user name and password
If you forget!!

If you forget your User ID you have to create a new user
profile in Level 1.

If you have forgotten your password or PIN, select the
‘Reset my Forgotten Password’ in the log in screen.
Select “Digital Aviation Information”
As per our agreement with DOD

