Applicant must be a County – Board of County
Commissioners

IRP funds are matched 50-50 by the County

Project request must include a Viewer’s Report

Local match funding may come a variety of sources






IRP is funded $ 4 million/biennium
$ 2 million per fiscal year
A county may receive up to $ 2 million per county per biennium
A county project may be funded for more than one biennium
 Example: $2 M in FY10/11 and
$1.5 M in FY12/13( a total of $ 7 M project w/match)
A county may apply for multiple projects in a biennium – the
total of the requests cannot exceed $2,000,000/biennium
Projects are funded on a first-come, first-served basis
Application Process
County Commissioners submit to WYDOT District Engr. the following:
An adopted County Resolution, with:

Verification of Local Match
Viewer’s Report
A project cost estimate (based on qualified Engineering principles)
Statement addressing who will manage the project
