that cannot tolerate any loss or disruption of access.
However, most customers are hesitant to run these
types of workloads on a hypervisor and if they did
they typically would not allow VM Administrators to
modify configurations (VMotion) during processing
hours

• Technologies may throttle performance of high-end storage arrays thus
negativity impacting their performance and value
.
• Networking implementation costs must be considered and can increase
cost and complexity
• Quorum Disk may not function over extended distances
• Costs associated with deploying Active / Active Data Center Technologies
may exceed the Return on Investment if not done prudently
• Active / Active Data Center Technologies may require customers also
deploy additional technologies in support of Disaster Recovery
