How does the GSM
Gateway work
How does the GSM
Gateway work

GSM Gateway is a device for direct routing of GSM calls through its
GSM modules into GSM network. Otherwise, routing of these calls
through PSTN network to the GSM network would be much more
costly.

While using GSM gateway, there is no interconnect fee besides bills
from SIM cards, which are used in GSM Gateway.

The calls may originate in company’s PBX, in alternative carriers
networks etc. E1 or VoIP connection to 2N StarGate is supported.
Recommended
settings at ISDN side
* EuroISDN interface
(Q.931 EDDS1)
** If you set 2N StarGate
as NT(MASTER), set
switch as TE (SLAVE)

CDR (Call Data Records)
•
2N StarGate automatically saves information about every call into its memory (even
unsuccessful calls if needed). With latest CPU board you have space for up to 245
thousand lines. In CDR you will find data about every call, which has been connected
through 2N StarGate
Statistics
•
2N StarGate automatically generates detailed statistics data on all incoming and
outgoing calls.. In Statistics you will find data about number of minutes routed through
every GSM module, GSM Group

Easy remote control
2N STARGATE can be configured and supervised (remotely or locally) using
the following connections:

locally via an RS232 interface

ISDN (or analogue) modem connected to an RS232 interface. An automatic detection
of the modem connection and thus automatic modem configuration are a matter of
course

10baseT interface - TELNET

Inbound B-channel in PRI ISDN connection
Other 2N PRI GSM
Gateways
 2N BlueTower
 2N BlueStar
2N BlueTower
