SONG OF PRAISE AND ADORATION
PRAISE MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
evermore his praises sing
Alleluia, aleluia! Praise the everlasting King!
SONG OF PRAISE AND ADORATION
PRAISE MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN
Praise him for his grace and favor,
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia, alleluia! Glorious in his faithfulness!
SONG OF PRAISE AND ADORATION
PRAISE MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN
Father-like he tends and spares us;
Well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia, alleluia! Widely yet his mercy flows!

Chaplaincy from the Bedside to the Boardroom
Presented by Rev. John Simon MDiv MTS BCC
This webinar will applaud our efforts at bedside spiritual care while stretching
us to think about how this ministry is translated, valued and understood in our
executive boardrooms.
Rev. John Simon MDiv MTS BCC is the director of Integrated Patient Experience
and Corporate Chaplaincy at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
Previously, Simon was the founding director of Spiritual Care Services at Vassar
Brothers Medical Center for 10 years, where he built a nationally-recognized
best-practice service of addressing patients and staff spiritual care needs. An
ordained American Baptist clergy of 25 years, Rev. Simon also serves as the
senior pastor of the historic Second Baptist Church of Poughkeppsie, NY since
2009. He is a BCCI board certified chaplain since 2002 and serves as a current APC board member.
Simon is a graduate of Yale University School of Divinity and the Iliff School of Theology.
Professionally trained as an internal auditor in his first career, Simon received his bachelor of
business administration from Prairie View A&M University.
SECTIONALS
Families of the Fallen
Susan VandePol founded the "Families of the Fallen" protocol for fire
departments and the "Life After Breath" protocol for churches and faith-based
organizations after the duty-related death of her husband on 2005. The
protocols are used by fire departments and churches around the country, and
are endorsed by experts. Susan is a certified Grief, Crisis, and Trauma
Counselor, Grief Coach, Master Life Coach, and Mediator. She is also certified in
Victim Response and Individual Crisis Intervention. She is a retreat and
conference speaker including keynotes at the ICISF World Congress and
speaking to the Honor Guard at the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial.
Susan Homeschooled her three children without ever succumbing to pressure
to wear Birkenstocks and now lives with her husband whom she shamelessly
manipulated into falling in love with her. He obliged by sweeping her off her feet with a large broom.
They now reside in Michigan. Susan is available to speak at events, conferences and retreats. For
booking information, please contact her at: [email protected] or Don Otis at
[email protected].

SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
When I survey the wondrous cross,
on which the Prince of glory died,
my richest gain I count but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.
SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
Oh, the wonderful cross,
Oh, the wonderful cross,
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly
live
SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
Oh, the wonderful cross,
Oh, the wonderful cross,
all who gather her by grace draw near and bless
your name.
SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were a present far too small,
love so amazing, so divine,
demands my soul, my life, my all.
SONG OF EXALTATION
WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS
Oh, the wonderful cross,
Oh, the wonderful cross,
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly
live
