Why an RBM Communication
Working Group ?
Communication and advocacy activities need also to
be “scaled-up”
as integral elements of malaria control and
other relevant health programmes
as complementary elements….in support of
country malaria control strategies
advocacy increased at all levels to support the
fight against malaria and achieve RBM goals

Why an RBM Communication
Working Group ?
All malaria control & related health programmes
have IEC & other communication elements BUT…
are they effective, appropriate, sustained ?
do they have enough emphasis or support ?
is there the capacity to deliver ?
could more be done in terms of communication
and advocacy to help attain RBM goals?
