from the CDG airport?•
1. Go to the RER station at the Charles
de Gaulle airport, and purchase a
one-way ticket to Paris- Gare de
Lyon from the ticketing counter

2. Take the RER Line B (blue line),until
the station Châtelet-les-Halles and
then change to Line A (red line).Gare
de Lyon is just one stop away!

• From PARIS (GARE DE LYON) MONTPELLIER•
• If you have an e-ticket, you will be
required to produce your debit/credit
card when you collect your train
ticket(s) at the train station, so the
credit card has to be in your name.•
• If you do not have a debit/ credit card,
ask your friend to help you.
Where to meet in Montpellier?
• Host family will meet you at the train
station or at the airport (depending
how you arrive in Montpellier).
WHAT IS COVERED
• The payment for the immersion should be
made by check to the NUS.
You will pay for:
• 3 weeks language and cultural immersion
programme in France (inclusive activities
organized by the school)
• Accommodation with host family (inclusive
of breakfast and dinner during weekdays)
• What is not covered?•
• Outside meals (not with host family)
• Transport from host family to IMEF
(you can buy bus/tramway card at the
school at cheaper price than outside)
• Medical insurance and travel insurance
(in case of lost baggage)
• Other personal expenses -shopping,
extra travelling, other forms of
transfers, etc.

• Familiarize with policy’s coverage• Copy
down necessary telephone numbers
• FINANCES•
• Work out an estimate depending on your
individual wants and needs (e.g. lunch
extra traveling, dining out, shopping etc).

• Be early-in France, the trains and
airplanes do not wait for anyone• Always
validate/punch your train tickets or else
you would risk paying a fine•
• Do not be late for your French classes and
don’t skip any: it would be a waist of your
time and money. Remember what you are
going there for.

Do not miss your return flight.
Reach CDG at least 3 hours before flight
departure.
Keep photocopies of important documents.
Try to travel together from airports to train
stations.
Never wander off alone, especially at night.
Always keep an eye on your belongings.
Have a list of important numbers (e.g. host
family, NUS, embassy) with you at all times.
Inform your family of your whereabouts.
