conducted and assessed by our
trained teachers.
• It will be conducted during 3 English
periods for 1.5 hrs.
What you can do to help your child…
Promote the love of books to your child
Take time out to read/listen
(storybooks/magazines/poems/newspaper)
with/to your child and discuss current
issues
Visit the library regularly
Use ‘real-life’ examples to engage your child
in conversations with the use of books, articles
such as ‘healthy lifestyle or favourite food’
What you can do to help your child…
 Show interest in your child’s progress in
Mathematics and be involved as a parent.
 Ensure that your child knows the multiplication
tables very well. Test your child to check.
 Encourage your child to do his/her own work and
corrections . Remind him/her not to copy anyone’s
work.
 Relate Mathematics to real-life situations by
engaging your child in meaningful and fun activities
