What is SIC tool? (1)
• Mobile SIC tool (System Information Collector)
for Android is used to collect system logs and
other device information that will help support
to locate the problem.
• Note: this tool will only work on Android versions 4.0.x
(Ice Cream Sandwich) and lower – it does not yet
support Jelly Bean (4.1.x)

What is SIC tool? (2)
• It can collect the following information:

Running applications list
Running services list
Installed applications list
Virus log (From TMMS scan log)
System information
The files in the “tmms” folder on SD Card

How it works?
• It starts a service to collect system log once it
is opened.

How to use? (1)
• You should open SIC Tool before reproducing
the issue you are troubleshooting to save the
debug log in a timely manner, otherwise the
buffer of system log may overflow, and the log
will be lost.
• Use steps:
– 1. Open SICtool
• Download from here
– 2. Put it in the background
• To do this, go back to your home screen
– 3. Reproduce issue that you are having trouble with
– 4. Go back to SICtool to collect the logs

How to use? (2)
• Mobile SIC ongoing notification will be showed
while it is collecting log.

How to use? (3)
• When collect log finish, open SIC again (from
notification or launch), upload log by email.
Note: Once SIC is opened, it
will keep collecting system log
until do upload or stop.
