Working Age Population
It refers to the population above a specified minimum
age (usually 15 years old and over) who could produce
the goods and services if there was a demand for their
labor and if they desire to participate in such activity.

UNDEREMPLOYED PERSONS
Employed persons who expressed the desire to
have:
 Additional hours of work in their present job; or
 Additional job; or
 A new job with longer working hours.
TYPES OF UNDEREMPLOYMENT
 Visibly Underemployed - worked less than 40
hours during the reference week.
 Invisibly Underemployed - worked 40 or more
hours during the reference week.
