FAQs
• Assume I don’t find B. Comp Sci suitable, can I
change to B. IT?
– Yes, the subjects offered for Year 1 are identical. Any
transfer in Year 2 is on a case to case basis.
• Will the student be able to get any IT professional
certificate if he/she takes the INTI-IU IT Degree
course?
– During the study period, the students will get a
certificate of completion according to the course.
*for SAP and CCNA, they need to pay to complete
CCNA level 3 and 4 and sit for the exam externally.

• What is the strength of your IT Degree course
compared to other universities/college?
– Focus on the course design, such as internship;
employer project; soft skills subject; and exposure
to business leadership. We have
professional/industry content incorporated into
our syllabus e.g. SAP, CCNA
• Can I apply got PTPTN
• Yes for SPM, STPM and UEC entries. For BSCI,
UEC student cannot apply for PTPTN yet.

– Yes
2. Can I join DICT without credit in English?
– Yes, subject to your English proficiency, you may need
to sit for EPT.
3. Can I join DICT without credit in Maths?
– No.
4. Can I join club activities at Diploma level?
– Yes, in fact, students must join extra curricular
activities to fulfill GES U4 module.

5. Can I transfer oversea upon completion of DICT?

Yes, to UK & Australia, admission to Year 2, average of
60% & above
6. Can I stay in the hostel throughout my study year
