Business Diversity – DFW Beliefs
Ensure that opportunities created by expenditure of
Airport funds are available to MWBEs
–
DFW spent $2.2 billion million on construction, design,
and other procurement services with 38% or $490
million to MWBEs
Remain as the catalyst for growth of small, minority
and women-owned businesses in the region
–
Provide capacity-building tools and pathways for all
companies that do business with DFW to grow,
prosper and succeed
Provide more access to Airport contracts for all small businesses, including minorityand women-owned firms
Strive for Operational Excellence in the Airport’s procurement, contracting processes
and procedures

Attend pre-bid/proposal and outreach conferences to meet potential
bidders/proposers, airport staff and learn about bidding & proposal requirements
Fully understand bid/proposal requirements and deadlines
