You can abbreviate Rough Endoplasmic
Reticulum to RER.
ER Stress is a potential cause of damage
in hypoxia/ischemia, insulin resistance and
other disorders.
The Ribosomes attached are not actually
part of the rough ER as they are free to
attach and release at any given moment.
RER may either be vesicular or tubular.
