• eSBTR
It is an electronic secured bank and treasury
receipt, issued by the Officer of the participating
bank, on special Government stationery, on
payment of Stamp Duty in Virtual Treasury.

Verification of eSBTR
• Verify stationery security features like
– State Emblem of Sarnath Lions in the right bottom corner of
eSBTR (Visible in bright light background)
– Perforated Department’s logo in right top corner
– Micro fibres scattered in stationery (Visible in bright light
background)
• Both the Stationery numbers printed on eSBTR should
exactly match
• Verify other details on eSBTR against details on document

Defacement & Locking in ISARITA
• Enter GRN & Challan Amount in iSARITA and
check the payment details
• If correct, proceed with Registration to lock
the eSBTR
• Physically deface the eSBTR
• Attach defaced eSBTR with the document
