Lucy Lucy 定 義 要比較兩者(兩個或兩群體),指出某者比另一個更 有特色時,就要用到比較級. 會用到連接詞than這個字. ex: 1. I am taller than you 2. Julie is more beautiful than Ann. 3. Today is cooler than yesterday. (一)規則變化 形容詞比較級的形成 形 容 詞 原 級 比 較 級 形 成 規 則 taller 形容詞字尾加er. nicer 形容詞字尾是e,直接加r. hot hotter 字尾是:「子音+短母音+子 音」,比較級為 重覆字尾加er. easy easier 字尾是y,比較級為去y加ier careful more careful 字前加 more. tall 單音節 nice 雙音節 三音節以上的字,比較級為在 多音節 beautiful more beautiful 字前加 more. (二)不規則變化(要熟記!) 原 級 比 較 級 例 句 bad worse His bike is worse than hers. good better My grades are better than yours. well better I feel better now. little less The CD is less cheap. many more Ken has more money than I. much more You drinks more water than he. 比較級的句型 看到有 than這個 字,就是比 較級. 1. 基本結構 A + bev. + 比較級 +than +B.(bev.) Ex: An elephant is bigger than a hippo. 小秘訣 比較級要與同一類型的事物做比較.例如:人與人,事與事 或物與物.不可人與物比. Ex: His eyes are bigger than mine (=my eyes). His eyes are bigger than I.(X) His eyes are bigger than my.(X) 2. 限定用法—限定範圍： 兩個當中比較~~的 A + bev. +the 比較級 + of the two. Ex: The rabbit is the faster of the two. = The rabbit is faster than the dog. 3. 兩個相同的比較法 A + bev. +as+原級（不變化）＋as+ B. Ex: The man is as strong as the other. Douglas is as smart as Ignacio. 4. 比較級的修飾 • 如要強調兩者的比較程度,可以在比較級 前加上much , far , a lot , even表示 「比 較…多了」或 a little 「比較…一些」 . Ex: Jay is much more handsome than Al. My sister is a little heavier than I. 5. 同範圍與不同範圍之間的比較 (1)同範圍 • Taipei is bigger than any other cities in Taiwan. • Amy is cuter than all the other students in 807.
