Jeevatu, the mixed culture of beneficial microbes, found in
Nepalese natural condition is developed by Nepalese Farming
Institute (NFI), Kathmandu, Nepal; devoting more than three
decades of time.

Value Addition By Jeevatu
1. An application of the 5-10% solution of Jeevatu on
organic waste completely, instantly stops the off
smell and enhances fast decomposition process.
2. The compost prepared by the use of Jeevatu depicted
high nutrient content such as 4.025% Nitrogen, 1.125%
Phosphorus and 2.250 % Potash and microbes to
solubilize fixed plant nutrients and manage several soil
borne disease and insect pest problems.
Such high quality, value added compost is the good
source for revenue generation for solid waste
management and input for agriculture sector to
enhance the declined/stagnated crop productivity.
