Check pre-requisites and co-requisites
Review course load (60-hr rule)
Note checksheet discrepancies on advising form
Note course substitution requests on advising form

GRADUATION
Minimum of 2.00 for all registered credits at UH Manoa
Minimum 2.00 for all upper division courses (numbered 300499) in mathematics, sciences, and engineering
ACADEMIC ACTIONS
PROBATION
Any semester in which cumulative or upper division GPA
< 2.0
Students on probation must also achieve a minimum
current GPA of 2.0
ACADEMIC ACTIONS
SUSPENSION
Failure to meet terms of probation or
GPA < 1.7 after attempting 24 credit hours
Must apply to return (Office of Admissions and
Records)
Suspended students who attend another institution
classified as “transfer” students upon reapplication
to UH Manoa

DISMISSAL
Failure to meet academic requirements after returning
from suspension
Not eligible for readmission to UH Manoa for one
academic year
