– Graduates are expected to take role in more complicated tasks
that require expertise in a specific field.

We have World Class Graduates
İlker Karakaşoğlu, Class of 2012, has been granted "The International Fulbright Science
and Technology Award" for his PhD studies. He is the only recepient of this prestigious
award in Turkey.
Fulbright S&T is designed to be the most prestigious international scholarship in
science and technology and to demonstrate the United States' commitment to
welcoming top-notch future researchers and leaders to pursue serious scientific study
and research at U.S. institutions.
Grantees receive three years of funding from ECA followed by support from their U.S.
host institution until the completion of Ph.D. programs.*

Barış Canatan (EE-2):
A memory show was presented on the Okan Bayulgen’s television program show
“Medya Kralı” by Barış Canatan with the title of national memory champion of
Turkey (10 April 2011).
•
Oğuzhan Teke (EE-2):
During the summer training at ASELSAN, Oğuzhan Teke published a conference
paper with his supervisor and presented his paper at Signal Processing and
Communications Applications Conference.
•
Furkan Çimen (EE-5):
Third place in the fourth level Race of Turkish Orienteering Federation.

Yiğitcan Eryaman (EE-9):
Yiğitcan Eryaman was awarded a fellowship of Madrid-MIT M+Vision and became a
post doctoral fellow at MIT (Research Laboratory of Electronics). (April 2011).
