VI. 引言 世界上现有g束线站的简介 SLEGS 低能(MeV)g光束线站初步设计 核物理、核天体物理及其相关应用 SLEGS项目预制研究实施计划 总结 I、引言 中科院上海应用物理研究所准备在国内提出并推动下述 计划，希望上级部门能予以大力支持，同时希望国内同 行能共同参与这个工作。 目标是建设“上海激光电子伽马源”（SLEGS），利用 上海光源(SSRF)的3.5GeV电子束，用远红外激光与电子 束进行Compton反散射，得到1-25MeV准单色极化g束， 开展低能极化核物理、核天体物理和强g源的应用研究。 该项工作将扩展上海同步辐射装置的应用领域，把核技 术和核分析手段引入同步辐射装置的应用中；同时为国 内开创了光核物理研究新领域，提供了一个极为难得的 实验平台；也为研究激光与电子相互作用机制作了技术 储备。 三类g光源：康普顿背散射、韧致辐射、束发射 低能极化或非极化g射线束一直是研 究核天体物理、原子核物理及相关领 域强有力的探针之一，具有以下优点： 1）电磁相互作用形式是已知的，能 作微扰处理；2）电磁耦合作用是小 的(=1/137)，使虚光子或实光子可以 穿透核，探索内部硬的核心。 国外新一代电子加速器和同步辐射光 源已可提供极化准单色g光子束， 推 动了光子在自由和束缚核子上的散射 康普顿背散射（BCS）方法有几个优点： 和反应的实验研究。  采用BCS方法的低能光子造成的本底要比韧致辐射小得多；  BCS方法最显著的特点是通过调节激光极化度可以得到几乎100%线或圆极化度的 光子，因此以光子极化度作为一个实验可观察量来开展相关实验研究有其优越性。 而且，在不改变实验条件的情况下，改变激光束的极化可以很便捷地改变BCS g的 极化方向。  准单色，可以开展精确的核结构测量，如核共振荧光激发等；
