Il miscelatore termostatico è tarato a laboratorio al fine di garantire una temperatura di circa 38° nella posizione
indicata dal riferimento posto sulla maniglia.
Nel caso in cui la temperatura selezionata non corrisponda a quella erogata, il miscelatore termostatico andrà tarato
a seconda delle condizioni dell’impianto.
Aprire il flusso dell’acqua, posizionare la manopola di regolazione della temperatura a 38°C e verificare la temperatura dell’acqua con un normale termometro medicale.
Girare la manopola della regolazione termostatica, con il pulsante di sicurezza premuto, fino al punto in cui il termometro segni stabilmente la temperatura di 38°C.
Rimontare la manopola facendo attenzione che al punto di riferimento sul pezzo corrisponda l’indicazione dei 38.
Avvitare la vite e inserire la placchetta.
ATTENZIONE: La camme montata sulla cartuccia termostatica non deve essere assolutamente smontata.
The thermostatic mixer is adjusted in factory to provide an outlet temperature of about 38° when positioned on the
scale indicator of the handle.
If the selected temperature does not correspond to the supplied water, the thermostatic mixer must be calibrated
following the local installation conditions.
Turn the water on, position the temperature control handle at 38°C and measure the temperature of the water with
a medical thermometer.
Turn the temperature control handle, with safety button pressed, until you reach a stable temperature of 38°.
In case of handle without cap, undo the grub screw and remove the handle.
Refit the handle and make sure that the mark on the body is lined up with the 38°C indication of the handle.
Tighten the screw and place the handle cap.
CAUTION: The black adaptor ring on the thermostatic cartridge must never be removed.

E’ consigliabile una costante ed accurata manutenzione della cartuccia termostatica per garantire un corretto e
prolungato funzionamento del prodotto.
Chiudere i rubinetti d’arresto domestici e scaricare l’acqua rimanente.
Per estrarre la valvola termostatica togliere la placchetta, svitare la vite e togliere la manopola.
Togliere anello cromato
inserito a pressione.
Estrarre la camme di bloccaggio facendo attenzione alla posizione attuale.
Svitare la cartuccia termostatica, asportare il calcare con aceto (non utilizzare detergenti o acidi) e lubrificare le
guarnizioni con grasso termo-resistente.
Eseguire, quindi, l’operazione al contrario, per rimontare la cartuccia termostatica avvitandola nell’apposita sede.
Se la temperatura erogata nella posizione di 38° non corrisponde alla temperatura desiderata fare riferimento al
paragrafo “REGOLAZIONE CARTUCCIA TERMOSTATICA” (pag. 17).
Togliere la placchetta, svitare la vite ed estrarre la manopola.
In presenza di manopole senza placchetta svitare il grano laterale ed estrarre la manopola.

Utilizzando una chiave dinamometria o in alternativa una chiave esagono 29 mm svitare la ghiera di serraggio
(ATTENZIONE: in mancanza di una chiave dinamometria è opportuno definire la posizione della ghiera tramite una
linea di demarcazione delebile utilizzando un pennarello o strumento similare).
Estrarre la cartuccia deviatrice e rimuovere eventuali impurità che possono ostruire il deflusso dell’acqua.
Inserire la cartuccia deviatrice avendo cura di posizionare i pioli di centraggio nelle apposite sedi, avvitare la ghiera
di serraggio con coppia di 9/10 Nm (in alternativa riportarla nella posizione originale preventivamente indicata).
Rimontare la cam di bloccaggio. Eseguire le operazioni al contrario per il montaggio.
To ensure a long lasting functionality, a regular and accurate maintenance is recommended.
Before any maintenance work is started, shut off the stop valves.
Remove the handle cap, undo the screw and take off the temperature control handle.
Remove the press-in chrome-plated ring .
Take off the stop ring taking care of its fitting position. When re-assembling put this in the same position.
Unscrew the thermostatic cartridge, clean the limestone with vinegar (do not use any detergents or acids) and
lubricate the gaskets with thermoresistant grease.
Proceed re-installing the thermostatic cartridge in its proper seat making the operation in the reverse order.
If the 38°C selected temperature is not performed, then refer to paragraph “CALIBRATION OF THE THERMOSTATIC
CARTRIDGE” (pag. 17).
Remove the handle cap, undo the screw to remove the diverting control handle.
In case of a handle without cap, then unscrew the grub screw and remove the handle.
Take off the adaptor ring.
Remove the press-in chrome-plated ring .
Remove the retaining nut using a dynamometric key or a 29 mm. wrench key (CAUTION: if a dynamometric key is
not available, it is advisable to mark the position of the locking nut with an ink pen or similar instrument), take off
and wash the diverting cartridge from debris.
Refit the diverting cartridge making sure that the locating pegs are positioned in their holes properly, refit the
retaining nut and tighten using a max. force of 9/10 Nm (alternatively replace the retaining nut having the marks
aligned). Refit the adaptor ring and follow the same procedure in reverse order to refit the handle.
