“Continue my work, because I’ve created it to defy time”, this is what Vincenzo Florio has said.
The first 100 editions are quite an important target and therefore have been celebrated. Now the
tradition and the myth of Targa Florio keep following the task of his inventor. In 2017 will be on
scene the 101st edition of the oldest race in the world!
The “cursa” (race as the locals calls it) in 2017 will enter its second century’s editions with an
event that will hold together four unique moments: the Targa Florio Rally, the Targa Florio Historic
Rally, the Targa Florio Classic and the Ferrari Tribute.
A not to be missed occasion to live in Sicily from 20th to 23rd April 2017.
The next edition of the Targa Florio Classic will be part of the newborn Great Events Italian
Championship by ACI Sport. Start and finish will take place in Palermo. The route will pass
through the beautiful Taormina, Cefalù, Unesco property, Monreale, with its famous Cathedral,
Castellamare del Golfo and the archeological area of Segesta, plus the traditional stages inside
the Madonie Race Track.
