HT is a software house and since 2004 has its core business in web
applications and system integration.
HT develops web applications in several sectors, from the solutions
offered to the companies, to those applicable in the scientific and
medical fields.
Tanks to the system integration HT brings together, within an
ecosystem, technological solutions that natively are unable to
dialogue each other.
HT develops multiplatform apps (Android and iOS).
What are Web Applications? And what are
they for?
These are applications that are accessible via the Web, so any
software need to be installed on a PC.
Facebook and YouTube are examples of Web Applications.
Web Applications are simple and powerful and HT can create ad
hoc ones on the basis of customer’s needs.

The benefits of web application
The web application can be used with all the operating systems in use
(Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.).
• Immediate access: no software needs to be downloaded.
• Updates: they are available without needing any installation.
• Centralized data: databases are stored on a server which is accessible
via a simple internet connection.
• Maximum security: as data are stored on an external server, they don’t
risk to be attacked by viruses caught on PC, tablet or smartphone.
• Extreme flexibility and simplicity: the user can interact from any
location, without being restricted to a single workstation.
The web application can be used simultaneously by more than one user.

Android App
The Apps developed for Android are based on Java. Usually, it is
used the Android Sdk (Software Development Kit) that includes all
the useful tools and APIs. Eclipse is the integrated development
environment officially supported. However, it is possible to rely on
different ones.
iOS App
Objective-C has been the most used language so far, but Apple has
recently launched Swift, safer and with a much simpler syntax. The
environment for the integrated development is Xcode, endowed
with a range of tools that simplify the processing, such as in the
interface design.
