You are warmly invited to the Meijers Lecture and our New Year’s Reception on Friday
20 January 2017.
Professor Tineke Cleiren (professor or Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure) will hold (in
Dutch) the annual Meijers Lecture entitled “Dood op bestelling …
Een doodlopende weg”? (Death on demand … A dead-end street?).
Her lecture will reflect her experience as a member of the committee ‘Voltooid leven’
(advisory committee on end-of-life decisions) set up by the Minister of Health, Welfare
and Sport and the Minister of Justice and Security.
Start 15.00 hrs, Lorentzzaal, Kamerlingh Onnes Gebouw, Steenschuur 25 in Leiden.
At 16.00 hrs there will be a New Year’s Reception in the restaurant of the Kamerlingh
Onnes Gebouw. We hope you will join us to raise our glass to the new year.
