Politecnico di Torino and Ordine degli Ingegneri
della Provincia di Torino organize the Workshop
“Exploiting the energy below us”
An international event organized in the occasion of
the annual meeting of the GABI COST action TU1405
“European network for shallow geothermal energy
applications in buildings and infrastructures” that will
gather in Torino next December 2016.
The workshop will include lectures from selected
worldwide experts together with a technical visit to
the Intesa San Paolo tower GSHP system.
It will start from the origins, taking advantage of the
Italian pioneering experience in deep geothermal
exploitation.
The interest will then move to shallow depths, covering
all aspects related to planning, design, construction
and monitoring of energy geostructures, the
breakthrough application for low enthalpy geothermal
exploitation.
Relevant examples from European countries will also
be illustrated and described.
The workshop is open to practitioners and academics,
continuing education credits.
