• You will receive an email inviting you to register to use Active Orders. Click on the
Registration URL in the email. The email content and invitation code will be different
than shown here.

• In Step 1, you review the subscription information.
• Active Orders was previously known as Order Lifecycle Visibility (OLV). You may
see references to the previous name in the registration system.
• Make sure the radio button is selected in the Select column, and the Active
Orders check box is enabled.

choose the Accept radio button, and then choose Next Step.

• In Step 3, you will set up a user account for the individual at your company that
should be the primary contact for the Trading Grid /Active Orders system.

The password is
case-sensitive.
• In this step, you also set up the log in information to sign into the Trading Grid.
• The Trading Grid User ID must be formatted as an email address.
• The Trading Grid password field on the Login page is case-sensitive and must be
entered exactly as you establish here.

password, you will be able to reset your password if you know this information.

• If the information is accurate and you are ready to submit your registration
request, choose the Submit button.

• The system confirms that your registration request has been submitted. Choose
Close to close the window.
• Do not choose the Login button. The process on the GXS side takes a few
minutes to complete. The system will display an error if you try to log in too soon.

• After your registration request is accepted, you will receive an email confirming
that your registration has been approved.
• You can use the URL provided in the confirmation email to access the system.

Understanding Getting Started Activities
• After completing the registration process, there are several
important tasks to perform to set up your Active Orders system:
– Setting up Trading Grid Service Contacts for individuals that
need to receive email notifications from the system.
– Configuring the system to display dynamic message links and
send email alerts when new or changed orders arrive.
– Enabling optional Supplier configuration settings.
– Creating and managing your company’s Trading Grid user
accounts.
• These tasks are described in detail in a separate presentation,
“Supplier Administrator Training: Getting Started Activities.”

After you hear the welcome message, press 2078.

You can also send an email to: [email protected]
When you contact GXS:

Have your company name, phone number, and your Client ID ready.
(If you don’t have a Client ID, you can provide your name.)

Identify that you are using Active Orders.

Provide a detailed description of the problem.
