The Role of a High School Counselor
At the very MINIMUM, counselors at the high school
level are responsible for ensuring that every student
takes the classes required for high school graduation.
We also offer parent/teacher consultation, brief individual
student counseling (academic and personal/social),
classroom guidance, college planning support, and
collaboration with educational stakeholders to work for
the benefit of each and every student in our school.
