Amendment Feature development:
-Feature developed as a DG contribution to TGm
-Finally included only as a complete proposal, not a partial one
-Develop as a self contained clause/subclause unless it is essential
-Do not put place holders in Amendment till the feature is ready.
(SDD will still have all features)
-DGs should track Amendment development for consistency
-WG LB recirculation scope should allow feature addition
-All features have to go thru at least one WG LB recirculation

Feature DG process for the
Amendment
• Feature Drafting Groups (DG) will develop contributions for adoption
by TGm as per Process (in previous slide)
• DGs will be authorized/re-authorized at each TGm session
• TGm will provide final deadlines for completion of DG work.
• DG must start with a work plan based on TGm final deadlines.
• DGs must report progress at every TGm session
• DG final output contribution must be complete by TGm deadlines for
adoption into the AWD/Draft
• DGs may meet during TGm sessions
• DGs can arrange teleconferences with 7 day advance notice
• DGs conduct straw polls for decision making
• DGs are open to all participants
• Letter Ballot comments related to feature topics may be assigned to
the DGs for harmonization before resolution by TGm
