 Divorces
 Updates of contact and classification data
 Changes in characteristics
Sources of new establishments:
 General Consumption Tax listings
 Companies Office of Jamaica
 Media sources e.g. newspapers
 Business Association listings
 Directories
 Population & Housing Census Visitation Records
Selection of Establishment samples
 Establishments are sorted by Industry and
Employment Size
 All establishments employing 50 and more employees
are usually included in the sample.
 A representative sample of establishments employing
10 to 49 persons is taken.
