Proposal Development Process
1. Initiate idea/project qualification

Know what you seek to fund, how much support you’ll need, and
strength/viability of project being funded. Preliminary activity?
2. Find appropriate funders, discuss with OSP/CFR,
find resources to help you. PIVOT
3. Prepare summary, contact funder
4. PD/PI, project team and OSP/CFR develop proposal,
budget and support materials
5. Review and approval for submission
6. Finalize proposal package, submit early
