Homework Policy
****IF A STUDENT COMPLETES EVERY HOMEWORK
ASSIGNMENT FOR QUARTER THEY WILL RECEIVE 2 QUIZ OR
ONE TEST GRADE DROPPED****
• 1st offense - Verbal warning. Student has one class day to make up
for partial credit (ALL MISSED WORK MUST BE TURNED IN DURING
HOMEROOM)
• 2nd offense – Student will receive zero credit on assignment,
student will have one class day to make up to receive partial credit
• 3rd offense - Notice to parents informing that child now missed
his/her third homework assignment for the quarter and that any
further missed assignments will result zero credit. Student will have
one class day to make up for partial credit
• Subsequent Actions After - Guidance counselor will be informed by
teacher and a conference with the parents and student will be
made to create an action plan. Student will receive zero credit for
further missed assignments
• If student continues to miss assignments, parents will be called in
again and the action plan will be revisited.
