• Remove abstraction (increase relevance)
– Apply and discuss topics & theories in light of business practice
– Use examples from business to introduce themes and topics
– Then relate theory and models to the examples afterwards

– Lectures should not be a summary of the textbook
– Focus class experience on explaining key concepts, models and
tools, relating them to business
– Then have the students apply the theories, models and tools in class
– Make students think about and use them on real business problems

• It takes a lot of time to og through a videocase in class
– Look at movie, discuss, vote, dicsuss results
• The students really like it (both videocases and kahoots)
– Large variation in responses, which is very interesting to discuss
– But I need to plan it so we get enough time (esp video)
– There may be too much video and too little time to cover syllabus if in
same session
• First round of itslearning competition this year (second session)
– Itslearning was down almost the whole day
– We could not run the contest
• Instead, the students were allowed to answer 1st round after class
from Tuesday afternoon until Friday 1600. Only 44 participated
• 2nd round was held in class in third session: 93 participated.
