Introduction
3
Nowadays, most cars include
Global Positioning System (GPS)
devices, so the position of each
vehicle can be determined at realtime.
as soon as two or more vehicles
are close enough to establish a
communication level.
Introduction
4
The routing protocols can be
classified as follows:
According to range: anycast, unicast,
broadcast, multicast;
According to the route discovery:
proactive, reactive, hybrid;
According to the used algorithm: link
state, vector distance, georouting.

Simulation of car-to-car
communications
In the first case, a simulation
among 10 nodes is done. This
communication takes place
between the first and the last
vehicle with 8 vehicles between
them.
