Analysis Of Unicast Routing Protocols For VANETs 作者: Juan Angel Ferreiro-Lage, Cristina Pereiro Gestoso, Oscar Rubiños, Fernando Aguado Agelet Department of Signal Theory and Communications University of Vigo, Vigo, Spain 1 Outline 2 I. Introduction II. Description of ad hoc routing protocols III. Simulation of car-to-car communications IV. Results Introduction 3 Nowadays, most cars include Global Positioning System (GPS) devices, so the position of each vehicle can be determined at realtime. as soon as two or more vehicles are close enough to establish a communication level. Introduction 4 The routing protocols can be classified as follows: According to range: anycast, unicast, broadcast, multicast; According to the route discovery: proactive, reactive, hybrid; According to the used algorithm: link state, vector distance, georouting. Description of ad hoc routing protocols 5 A. Dynamic Source Routing(DSR) 6 B. Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV) 7 C. Destination Sequence Distance Vector(DSDV) A Node DEST A NEXT A METRIC 0 SEQ A-550 B B 1 B-104 C B 2 C-509 C B Node DEST A B C NEXT A B C METRIC 1 0 1 SEQ A-550 B-104 C-509 Node DEST NEXT METRIC SEQ A B 2 A-550 B B 1 B-104 C C 0 C-509 8 Simulation of car-to-car communications In the first case, a simulation among 10 nodes is done. This communication takes place between the first and the last vehicle with 8 vehicles between them. 9 Results 10 11
