INFORMATION
Mickey Mantle was born
on October 20, 1931 in
Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He
was married to Merlyn
Johnson, and they had
four boys (Mickey Jr.,
David, Billy, and Danny).
Mantle attended the
University of Oklahoma,
and died on August 13,
1995 in Dallas, Texas.

May 15, 1951: Mickey
Mantle started playing for
the New York Yankees.
June 24, 1956: Mickey
became a triple crown
winner.
September 18, 1974:
Mickey was inducted into
